This policy explains what information the mobile game Sort Splash ("the Game") collects, why, and what choices you have. Sort Splash is published by BigInt Games ("we", "us").
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous user identifier (randomly generated at first launch; not linked to your identity) | To back up and restore your progress | Google Firebase Authentication |
| Game progress: current level, coin balance, undo packs and shards, daily wheel streak and last spin date, which themes you own and have equipped, and your colorblind, reduced-motion and haptics settings | To back up your progress and restore it on a new device | Google Cloud Firestore |
| Advertising ID and coarse device/technical data (device model, OS version, language, approximate region derived from IP) | To display ads, limit repeated ads, and measure ad performance | Google AdMob |
| Usage events tied to an app-instance identifier (for example: app opened, a level started or finished with its level number, move count and star rating, which screens are viewed, and when you watch a rewarded video) | To understand how the game is played and where players get stuck | Google Analytics for Firebase |
| Reminders you allow (a daily wheel reminder and a come-back reminder). They are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server, and you can turn them off in your device settings | To tell you when your daily wheel spin is ready | Stays on your device |
| Settings such as sound volume | To remember your settings | Stored locally on your device only |
| A copy of the game's saved-data file (your progress and settings on the device) | To restore the game if you reinstall or change phones | Android Backup, run by Google as part of your device backup. Only this one file is included |
Sort Splash shows occasional full-screen ads between levels (never in the first levels, and always spaced apart), and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses such as doubled coins or free undos. There are no banner ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to personalise ads.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform appears first. You can decline and still play the whole game.
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time on your Android device (Settings → Google → Ads). Sort Splash has no in-app purchases, so there is no way to pay to remove ads; rewarded videos are always optional.
AdMob's practices are described in Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.
When the game asks you to rate it, the Google Play in-app review dialog is shown by Google Play. We do not receive your rating or any information about you from it.
Sort Splash is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf. Progress records are kept for as long as the profile remains in use; delete-requests are honoured as described below.
Data in transit is protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Progress is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under access rules that allow each anonymous ID to read and write only its own record.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
