This policy explains what information the mobile game Pop Valley ("the Game") collects, why, and what choices you have. Pop Valley is published by BigInt Games ("we", "us").
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player account id (Firebase Authentication, created on first launch) | To back up your progress and post to the Daily Puzzle board | Google Firebase Authentication |
| Progress: coins, unlocked level, stars, best scores | Backed up so your progress carries across reinstalls and can be shown on boards | Google Firebase Realtime Database |
| Display name you choose, and your score | The Daily Puzzle leaderboard | Google Firebase Realtime Database |
| Crash reports (short, anonymised error message, device model, OS version, app version) | To fix bugs | Google Firebase Realtime Database (first-party, no crash SDK) |
| Advertising identifier (where permitted) | To show and measure ads | Google AdMob |
| Settings (sound, notifications) | To remember your settings | Stored on your device only |
If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders on your device — for example that your lives have refilled, or a daily reminder to come back and play. Permission is asked at first launch. These reminders are created locally on your device; there is no push notification server, and no notification data leaves your device. You can turn them off in your device settings at any time.
Pop Valley shows ads served by Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch for in-game bonuses, interstitial ads between levels, and a banner ad shown during gameplay. Where AdMob is present, it may use your device's advertising identifier; on iOS the Game asks first through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland Google's consent form appears before that, with a Privacy options row in Settings afterward so you can change your choice at any time. If you decline, ads are still shown but are non-personalised, and you can still play the whole game. Pop Valley's ads are requested at a content rating ceiling of G. See Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.
Pop Valley is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are requested at AdMob's G content rating ceiling. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Progress stays on your device and is backed up to your anonymous account. Your anonymous account and its saved progress (coins, unlocked level, stars, scores) are deleted on request: email support@bigintgames.com with the game name (Pop Valley) and, if you know it, the player id shown in Settings, and we will delete them. Crash reports and Daily Puzzle board entries are pruned automatically after 90 days.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Write to support@bigintgames.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We will update this page when the Game's data practices change and update the date above.
